4 Must Have Oils For Your Body & Soul!

Essential oils, carrier oils and beauty oils when used in the right proportions are a superb way to lift your mood and cure your body.

Today we have listed 4 oils which help you do just that.

1. Neem Oil:

Neem carrier oil has been reputed for its antiseptic, dermatological and dental properties. It is rich in fatty acids and glycerides and together with its healing properties, provides an excellent natural moisturizing base for skin care formulation. This oil has been used for centuries in traditional Indian Medicine to aid in the healing of topical skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, rashes, burns and acne.

2. Pumpkin Seed Oil

Pumpkin seed oil is created by pressing roasted, hulled pumpkin seeds, from the Cucurbita Pepo, (Styrian oil pumpkin). The Styrian pumpkin is fairly unique, as it has a greenish-yellowish skin, and its flesh is yellowish-orange in color. The unusual seeds within the pumpkin don’t have a shell, which makes it possible for for simpler processing of the oil.

The seeds of the fruit are rich sources of vitamins A, K, and E. They also contain other nutrients like omega-6 fatty acids, zinc and iron, which offer a host of benefits for the skin and hair. When used on the mane, it’s said to improve hair growth, strengthen strands and add shine. When used on the face, it not only hydrates, but can also help fight acne and stop scars from forming.

3. Eucalyptus Essential Oil:

Eucalyptus oil is the distilled oil that comes from the dried leaves of eucalyptus – a colorless liquid with a strong woody and sweet smell. One very important reason why many individuals use eucalyptus oil is its ability to address mental exhaustion through creating a cooling and refreshing effect. As a stimulant, it helps eradicate exhaustion and mental sluggishness, and rejuvenates “the spirits of the sick.”

This essential oil works different ways. In vapor therapy (in the form of burners and vaporizers), eucalyptus oil may be used for respiratory problems, for helping improve concentration, or as an insect repellant.

It can also be used in blended massage oil or diluted in your bath – methods that can provide benefits against arthritis, asthma, mucous congestion, colds, headaches, sinusitis, fatigue, and muscle aches and pains.

4. Citronella Essential Oil

Oil of citronella is a naturally occurring insect and animal repellent distilled from two grass varieties. It is yellow to brown and has a grassy/floral smell. It is a mixture of many components. The exact composition varies by grass variety. However, the main components are citronellol, citronellal, and geraniol.

Citronella oil repels target pests rather than killing them. It works by masking scents that are attractive to insects. Thus, insects find it difficult to locate their target to feed.
